JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com- Deputy Chairman of Commission II DPR RI, Zulfikar Arse Sadikin, considers the proposal of the Indonesian Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) to blacklist perpetrators of money politics as an interesting idea to be discussed in the revision of the Election Law.
“An interesting idea. In the future we need to change the orientation of law enforcement in criminal elections to administrative,” said Zulfikar when contacted by journalists, Thursday (7/5/2026).

He said that the ideas conveyed by Bawaslu would later become material for discussion with all stakeholders in the process of drafting and discussing the revision of the Election Law.
“巴瓦斯鲁所传达的可能是一种替代方案。我们只需要考虑技术。到时候，无论是准备还是讨论，我们都会邀请所有利益相关者进行讨论和讨论，”他总结道。

As previously reported, Member of the Indonesian Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu) Herwyn JH Malonda proposed a revision of the General Election Law (RUU Pemilu) to ensure that money political actors are blacklisted and cannot take part in contests.
According to him, perpetrators of money politics should not only be disqualified from contesting, but also prohibited from participating in the next election in order to provide a deterrent effect for fraudulent participants.
“Those who have been proven to be involved in money politics, for at least one period of the next election they are not allowed to take part, including regional elections,” said Herwyn in a public discussion at the RI Bawaslu Office, Jakarta, Wednesday (6/5/2026).

根据Bawaslu的数据，金钱政治是2024年选举脆弱性最大的五个案例之一。省级选举中有22起金钱政治案件，区/市一级选举有256起金钱政治案件。
