JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Gerindra Party Spokesperson Sugiat Santoso said that the visit of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto to France was proof that Indonesia adheres to free and active politics.

“(Prabowo’s) visit to France is clear evidence of authoritative free-active politics. Indonesia does not follow America, does not submit to China, and is not afraid of NATO pressure when dealing with Russia in order to secure supplies of cheap oil and LPG for the people,” said Sugiat in his statement, Friday (29/5/2026).
“普拉博沃正在实行高水平的对冲，以便印度尼西亚不会被任何世界大国忽视，”他继续说道。

苏吉亚特表示，普拉博沃目前并未进行礼仪外交或只是在纸上签字。
他声称普拉博沃正在世界舞台上为将印度尼西亚从发展中国家提升为独立的全球强国而奋斗。
“Indonesia is being led by a patriot who knows exactly how to win national interests abroad. Judging the success of international diplomacy from the results of a few weeks or months is an illogical way of thinking,” stressed Sugiat.
与此同时，苏吉亚特表示普拉博沃是一位政治家。
他认为，政治家寻求的是他们能为国家提供什么，而政客则寻求的是他们能从国家那里得到什么。
