JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com- BRIN Senior Political Researcher Lili Romli assesses that the official status of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo (Jokowi) as the Board of Trustees of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), can be used as capital for political safaris to various regions.
According to Lili, clarity on Jokowi’s status in PSI is important so that the former head of state’s position on the political safari agenda does not raise questions among society.

周六（2026 年 6 月 13 日），Lili 在接受 Kompas.com 采访时表示：“如果你想以 PSI 的名义进行政治旅行，那么你应该已经是一名官方管理员。如果不是，公众会问这次旅行的身份是什么：作为 PSI 总主席的父亲还是 PSI 同情者。”
莉莉认为，作为政党行政长官的官方身份将澄清佐科威在陪同PSI参加该地区各种政治活动时的立场。
Moreover, continued Lili, Jokowi still has political influence that can provide benefits for PSI, although it is no longer as big as when he was president.

“As a former President, of course there are still many followers and loyalists. It could be that they will provide support. However, this support will not be as strong and as big as when Jokowi became president, there will be a decline,” explained Lili.
However, Lili sees that up to now Jokowi’s appointment as the PSI Advisory Board has not yet been formalized, even though the party has repeatedly given signals about this.
He suspects that this condition is part of an effort to see the public’s response to Jokowi’s certainty of joining PSI and occupying a certain position.
