塔雷米强调，世界杯是一场友谊与和平的盛会，因为它将不同国家的人民聚集在同一个论坛上。
他认为把这场冲突带到世界杯上是不合适的，因为涉及很多人。
“体育关乎尊重、和平与团结。世界杯拥有不知道有多少亿观众，能够唤起这些情感。”

Mehdi Taremi ensured that Team Melli would not be affected in any way by the conflict involving his country and the United States.
The former Inter Milan player is determined to be able to focus and try to achieve the maximum results possible.
“My teammates and I, as much as possible, are completely focused on pthere’s this tournament.”

“When we go out on the pitch and train, we do everything as usual. In short, we remain focused on football,” he explained.
