SURABAYA, KOMPAS.com- Hundreds of students from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Airlangga University (Unair) voiced their stance on seven calls for an economic emergency.
The action was attended by dozens of BEM FEBUnair students and also Unesa on Thursday (11/6/2026).
Monitoring Kompas.com at around 16.00 WIB, students wearing black gathered in the FEB Unair Roundabout park.
There are also several posters with the words, “This Resistance is Eternal”, “Enough!!! 1 Period”, “Statement of Urgency by 7 Economists” installed at that location.
战略研究与行动部负责人 Yeni Mafrukah 表示，该立场声明是经济专家于 2022 年 9 月做出的压力的延续。
“As a form of our support, all the students here, we want to invite all economic leaders who still side with the nation’s ideals to urge the government to follow up on the seven demands of economic experts,” said Yeni when met, Thursday.

他解释说，这一立场声明也表明卢比疲软、Pertamax 燃料油（BBM）价格上涨、购买力减弱以及社会经济不平等加剧。
他说：“因此，我们并不认为这只是经济学学生的愿望，因为从根本上来说，经济不仅是一个人的利益，也是社会各阶层的利益。”
The seven-point position statement contains seven economic emergency calls, including:
Yeni said, although up to now there are no plans for demonstrations to take to the streets, she emphasized that she will not remain silent considering the current economic situation.
“Because silence is not partisanship. By being silent, it means we agree with all the chaotic conditions of the Indonesian economy at the moment,” he concluded.
